Accounts and teams

You need an account to use Binom Chat. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

A team is created by its owner, who invites the other members. A team has at most 25 members. The owner can appoint admins, remove members and manage billing.

Subscription and payment

Binom Chat is paid per seat per month, at the price shown on our website when you subscribe, plus VAT where it applies. Each member takes one seat. The team owner chooses how many seats to buy and pays for the whole team through Stripe.

The subscription renews every month until it is cancelled. When members join or leave, the next bill is adjusted pro rata. There is no free trial.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. If the subscription ends unpaid or is cancelled, the team becomes read-only: its history stays readable, but nobody can send messages, invite members or use the AI until payment is restored.

AI answers

The AI answers questions from the chat history your team has in Binom Chat and links to the messages it used. It can be wrong or out of date. Check important answers against the sources before relying on them; answers are not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.

AI use has a fair-use limit per team per day, so that the service stays fast and affordable for everyone.

Your content

Messages, imported chats and other content belong to you and your team. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run Binom Chat for you, including indexing them so the AI can answer from them.

Only import chat history you have the right to share with your team.

Acceptable use

Do not use Binom Chat to break the law, to send spam or malware, to harass anyone, or to infringe anyone’s rights. Do not try to access other teams’ data, overload the service or get around its limits.

We may suspend an account or a team that breaks these rules, and will tell the owner why unless the law prevents it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Binom Chat available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without a guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

We may change these terms. For significant changes we will tell team owners by email at least 30 days in advance; using Binom Chat after that means you accept the new terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to a team is limited to the amount it paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Binom Chat at any time. The owner can cancel the subscription and ask us to delete the team with all its data.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
